About the Clinic

Operated by the nation’s leading graduate university dedicated to psychology and related behavioral and health sciences, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Counseling Centers employ experienced clinical psychologists and marital and family therapists to provide close supervision to master’s and doctoral-level interns who are working toward clinical licensure.
Under the mentorship of the licensed clinical staff, our intern therapists provide psychotherapy, couples counseling, group therapy, and psychological testing services to clients struggling with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, bereavement, eating disorders, sexual orientation issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, chronic mental illness, sexual abuse, post-traumatic stress, and others.
Our Mission
The Mission of the TCSPP Counseling Centers is to offer high quality mental health services to the members of the Greater Los Angeles and Orange county communities in order to reduce psychological problems and distress and enhance mental health, well-being, and quality of life. We achieve our mission through the delivery of high-quality and culturally-competent services primarily provided by TCSPP students on internship and practicum. Our primary focus is on providing individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy, consultation, and referral services.

Our Values
We value acceptance and appreciation for all differences among people, including those of national origin, race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, functional ability, socio-economic status, age, and religious affiliation. We believe that valuing cultural diversity from a global perspective maximizes human growth and development, and enhances the quality of life in our communities, at our TCSPP Counseling Centers and campuses, and throughout the world.
In keeping with The Chicago School’s mission to meet the needs of underserved populations, the Center provides premiere services to all members of the community, on an affordable sliding scale.
The Center is a nonprofit (501C 3) educational and charitable psychological treatment center, supported by client fees, grants, funds raised by special events, and private donation
